- How to bulk-edit parameters with a CSV round trip
- How to bulk-create items with the Bulk Library Upload Wizard
Prerequisites
- Complete Tutorial 3: Building Library Parts so you know what each item type holds.
- Bulk editing and bulk upload need the Editor or Admin role.
Steps
1Search the library
In the Library sidebar, click the funnel icon at the end of the search bar to open Advanced Library Search. Pick a Preset (e.g. Missing procurement data) or set your own filters and output columns, then click Run Query. Download CSV exports the results.

2Bulk-edit parameters
- Run the Bulk-edit parameters preset and Download CSV.
- Edit values in a spreadsheet. Empty cells are left unchanged.
- Click Import CSV, review the preview, and click Apply.
3Bulk-create items
Click Bulk Library Upload Wizard in the top-right. It steps through item types in dependency order (tools and contacts before the connectors and devices that use them). For each step, Download Template, fill it in, Upload CSV, fix any highlighted errors, and click Create N item(s) & Continue. Skip steps you don't need.
